Directions
This crispy chicken parmesan is best enjoyed fresh and hot, making it perfect for weeknight dinners when you want something comforting, cheesy, and satisfying without complicated steps.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets. Pound lightly to even thickness.
Set up breading station with three bowls: Bowl 1: Flour Bowl 2: Beaten eggs Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs mixed with grated parmesan, salt, and pepper
Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip into eggs, then coat evenly with breadcrumb mixture.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet. Spoon marinara sauce over each piece and top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
